On March 18th the state of emergency was declared in Portugal to try to stop the virus from spreading and several restrictive measures were adopted.
FastFiber abided all the decreed measures and adopted all the needed procedures to ensure its employees and respective families were safe. The majority of the employees were sent home in telework with full access to all tools necessary to keep enrolling in their activities.
As restrictions were lifted, and the vacation period ended, it was necessary to prepare the organized and adequate return of our employees to the workplace and once again the necessary measures were taken to ensure that this could happen in complete safety.
The situation is being reviewed regularly according to the evolution of the pandemic and the recommendations of the Portuguese Government and other official entities, so that our employees, their families and communities take as fewer risks as possible.
