On October 4, FastFiber/Fibroglobal, in partnership with 5P’s, renewed its commitment to solidarity and mutual assistance through an initiative aimed at supporting two important institutions: the Food Bank and the Donated Goods Bank.
The Food Bank is dedicated to combating food waste by redistributing products to people in need. The Donated Goods Bank, an Entrajuda initiative, has the mission of collecting and distributing non-food products donated by companies and individuals to social support institutions. This project also aims to optimise the management of these institutions, boosting their capacity to intervene in the fight against poverty.
FastFiber’s employees were involved in various tasks in this charitable initiative. At the Food Bank, they prepared fresh and packaged food baskets for distribution to various organizations. At the Donated Goods Bank, they took part in sorting and organizing clothes and shoes for donation.
The dedication and team spirit shown throughout the day were essential to the success of the initiative, strengthening the bond between the volunteers and providing a sense of gratitude and fulfilment.
It was a productive day, marked by the strengthening of the values of mutual help, overcoming obstacles and co-operation, which reflect the true spirit of FastFiber.
