FastFiber is the biggest wholesale optical fiber provider, with the largest fiber network in Portugal.
FastFiber resulted from a partnership between Altice Portugal (50.01%) and Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners (49.99%) and its fiber network comprises fiber assets that belonged to Altice Portugal.
FastFiber focuses on providing future proof fiber infrastructures to national and international operators, enabling them to develop their networks and to provide better services to their end customers, both in the consumer and business segments.
With more than 4.6 million homes passed, FastFiber’s main goal is to increase its national network coverage, leading Portugal to be the first country in Europe to have full optical fiber coverage, keeping up with the constant evolution of communication services, including the 5G mobile networks.
